This car show in Lansing, Michigan was phenomenal and featured some beautiful cars old and new. This is the second annual event honoring Magic Johnson's late father, who loved classic cars and hosted the show for years. It is a way for Magic Johnson to honor his father's memory and share his love for cars with the community. The proceeds also benefit two law enforcement charities.

The event was held in the Union Missionary Baptist Church parking lot and the lot was full. There were over 200 vehicles on display. This sign was at one of the entrances to the church parking lot. As I entered the property, this was the first car I saw parked.

Next I saw this Firetruck. Look at all who receive services through this engine.

This car right here is fire (hot). I kept being drawn back to take pics and videos. Here are a few.

And a short walkaround video of that car.

When I was ready to move along, I went live on Facebook so that those who were watching still had an opportunity to see what I was seeing. Here is the 9:55 live video.

Now entering Corvette country.

1964 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Pictures and Short Video

This was my second and last Facebook live video and capturing these sweet rides did not disappoint.

Below are some pictures to give you a better look at these beauties.

Magic Johnson greeting the crowd and signing one item they brought to have autographed. He didn't make it completely through the line before he had to speak and leave to catch a plane.

Magic Johnson providing all involved with the appropriate thank you.

And just when I thought there was nothing else to see, I heard someone mention the "Kobe" car and when I turned to look, I was in awe. You will soon see why. I am going to close out this blog with three videos of this spectacular creation followed by eight pictures. I hope you will appreciate the sentiment. If you love Kobe (and Gigi), be prepared for the emotion you may experience. P.S. This car is for sale (at the time of this posting) at Empire Motors of Lansing. You can contact Manny for inquiries at 517.514.9616.
